So we built it.
Terrapin Tattoo is a woman- and artist-owned studio founded in 2025 by Esther Rebeca.
From the beginning, the goal was simple: create a space that’s comfortable, private, and built on respect—for the art, the process, and the people who walk through the door.
WHAT WE’RE ABOUT
We’re not trying to be the biggest shop in town. We’re just trying to be the kind of place we always wished existed.
We care about the details. The feel of the space. The quality of the art. The companies we source our supplies from. We think all of that matters—because it does.
We’re appointment-only, which gives us the freedom to work one-on-one without distractions or pressure. It also means we get to build real trust with our clients, whether you're getting a custom piece or grabbing a flash design we’ve been itching to do.
We make things we’re proud of. We tattoo people we respect.
And we’re not interested in doing it any other way.
